Patients

A single home for everything you record about a patient — profile fields, uploaded documents, and the toggles that decide how their context shapes future notes.

Why patients have their own page

Most clinical encounters reference the same facts visit after visit — chronic conditions, current medications, allergies, prior surgeries, family history. Re-dictating that context every time is repetitive work that doesn't make the note any better.

The patient detail page lets you capture that context once, either by typing/dictating it into structured fields or by uploading the original intake form. From then on, every note generated for that patient can draw on it automatically. You stay in control of which context flows where via a few simple toggles.

Documents

Drop intake forms, lab printouts, prior consult letters or advance directives. PDFs and images both work. Each file is read in the background so the text is ready for future notes.

Note generation toggles

Three switches control whether the patient's profile, their uploaded documents, and the previous visit note are referenced when AI writes new notes. Turn any of them off at any time without losing the underlying data.

Structured profile

Persistent Medical History, Medications, Allergies, Notes and Context fields. Type or dictate; everything auto-saves as you go.

Quick-edit modal

Clicking a patient anywhere in the app opens a compact editor with the same document dropzone and toggles, so you can manage context without leaving the recording screen.
